About Us

Vidyadeepam is a an initiative started as part of a social project by a small group of students from 2007-'11 batch of Amrita Engineering College, Kerala. The key purpose of the group was to enable the freshers who are joining the Engineering college from different levels of society. The major activities included coaching sessions, study materials to cop up with graduation, moral back-up to fight emotional issues staying away from home etc..

This initiative of collecting creative materials from volunteers and sharing in a public platform is meant for recreation during the crisis caused by Covid19. The intention is that anyone can utilize their time at home for any creative activities & then share the same with a broader group, thus keeping themselves and all others motivated during these testing times.. This will also serve as a platform for those who are interested in reading amature stories/poems or to enjoy the artistic skills of different people.

So, we expect the following two groups to be part of this initiative. If you are one among them, you are at right place to spend your time.. If you are not, we're sorry that we couldn't interest you..

• Folks interested in Reading/Viewing articles & drawings from a group of amatures
• Folks who wish to entertain others with whatever they have...
